My name is Jessie and I love baked goods. Everything I know about baking, I've learned from 3 places: blogs, cookbooks and my family.

I trust my fellow blogging ladies to teach me fun new techniques and to give me fresh ideas for projects.

I go to cookbooks for classic recipes that are tried and true. I love that they are unaltered so I can play with them myself.

Finally, my family. My mother is my last ditch resort for a good recipe. She has years of experience on me when it comes to baking, so I always trust her palate.

But, this is my space for sharing all of the things that I have learned in hopes that I can inspire others and prove to them how easy (and delicious) baking can be.

I recently graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Theatre and a minor in Business. Since graduation, I have been steadily unemployed and trying to spend time finding out what I really want to do with my life.

I think I may be onto something with baking.
